I’ve know Adalyn since I moved to Atlanta – and this was 5 years ago! When I met her for the very first time she was 2 years old! I can’t believe 5 years have passed.
The photo below is Adalyn. She recently celebrated her birthday and I had the honor of being invited, not just as a photographer but as a friend!
One of the many reasons I love this job is that after a while you become a part of the families you work with. Of course this doesn’t happen with everyone. With Adalyn and her family though, it was magical from the beginning.
Below is the very first photo I took of her.
FIVE years is a long time! Over the years, I’ve collected many photos of this precious child.
Adalyn is a wonderful little creature. She treats everyone with extreme respect and gifts her attention to them. Regardless of her age, she’s sensitive and aware of the people she interacts with. She shows empathy, love and compassion.
Since I’ve know her, she has always been so interested in nature. She loves walking around and discovering new things about her surroundings.
When I first met her, she was an only-child. Now she’s an incredible big sister to two brothers, Theo and Camden.
She is growing so well. She is loved and she loves others beautifully.
When people are wondering why it is so important to take photos, I show them posts like this! As you need a thermometer to measure the temperature, you need photos to measure the time passing by!
Happy Birthday my sweet Adalyn!
Being a photographer means being a witness of all milestones a family has along their path. Births, weddings, graduations, and so on! All these moments could be forgotten without photos.
