Aside from your new husband or wife, the only things you truly keep from your wedding day are the rings you exchange and the photographs that capture it all.
When you look back in years to come, you’ll want images that tell the whole story – images that remind you exactly how you felt when your beautiful new life was just beginning.
Documentary wedding photography is different.
You’ll find my style is natural, honest and raw, filling my photos with authentic emotion. I’m not interested in contrived perfection. I won’t boss you around, ask you to pose, or force you to kiss when you’d rather not.
Instead, I capture precious, intimate moments, creating a visual story of your wedding as it unfolds.
Why small, intimate weddings?
Because they’re my favorite kind! When you limit your guest list to no more than 80 people, you create a unique, relaxed atmosphere. I find the energy intoxicating and kind of magical.
Intimate weddings are also a better fit for my photojournalistic approach. I believe everything about your day is worth documenting and I’m passionate about capturing moments that would otherwise go unnoticed.

Reserve Your Date
Booking is simple and easy. Complete a brief form, pay your $500 deposit, and the date is yours. Your final balance is due two months before the wedding.
Your Pre-Wedding Shoot
My documentary approach requires a lot of mutual trust, so I always offer my couples a pre-wedding shoot. As well as creating some beautiful images, it’s an opportunity for you to get to know me better. On your wedding day, I focus on capturing intimate moments, so it’s essential you feel at ease in my presence.
On the Day
Everything about your wedding day is worth photographing, not just the moment you say, ‘I do’! Of course, the key shots are important, but you can rely on me to capture so much more.
I won’t be a ‘fly on the wall’. Instead, I’ll interact with you and your guests, building trust and helping everyone relax in front of the camera. My hope is that we’ll end the day feeling like old friends!
